To all the people who have written threads on here opposing the believes of Christians, Thanks!!! For it (the threads that have questioned or put down Christians) has made me study my Bible more, reread chapters, look things up in the Strong Accordance and overall become a stronger Christian because Ive left my level of complancincy and started to "study to show myself approved" and spent more time in prayer over what to say. I can only speak for myself but Thanks again!

I'd like to add my thanks to all the Christians who have posted on these threads. Reading about the stuff they actually believe to be 'the truth' has strengthened my atheism and made me even more thankful that I really am able to think for myself. I can only speak for myself but thanks again!
I can say something similar...many of the threads posted on here have gotten me to bring out the bible and read about what it really says...it has confirmed for me that I have made the right decision, the decision to be an Atheist...I just can't follow a system of beliefs that say they follow the bible literally AND then don't...
While I hold the bibles and other religous books I have with respect because they are books and also books that belonged to my father, no one speaks to me through them.

Oh, and it's Strong's Concordance, the best friend of proof texters everywhere. Make sure you go beyond that if you really are looking at the roots of the Bible.
Well, I want to thank everyone too, I am more convinced than ever that God would not have devised only one way to salvation. My mother died Monday and she believed strongly in God and prayer. She told me to skip the middle man and go straight to the top. We have received condolences from our very very good friends who are Buddhists and my best friend who is Jewish, and one of my uncles, who is 7th Day Adventist, so don't tell me they are all going to hell because of their beliefs. I have tried so many churches, but really have a problem with Salvation. I thank everyone here for their wisdom and experience, it has made me think about my life and my beliefs. I am more confused than ever!!
I hope I never do get to a point in my life where I do...
