1st year college roommate: Jewish princess. Wanted to hog the entire room. Messy as heck. Very rude, always left dishes around, alway had boys around, did not say please or thank you when I did anything for her.
3rd year college suitemate (not my actual roommate): Dirtiest girl I've ever known. Sneezed into her hands. Did not use napkins when she ate. Always left food boxes in the common areas. LEFT HER PADS AND TAMPONS ON THE FLOOR- USED ! When she had a nosebleed, she stood over the sink and let it drain out---and then failed to rinse out the sink. absolutely disgusting.
First summer semester in college I had the same *** (jewish american princess) also she would play elevator music 24/7 she had a friend that would constantly complain that I didn't like her. The friend woke me up at 3am in the morning to yell at me because I didn't like her.
Study abroad in Japan. There was only one key for the room! This woman decides not to leave the key at the front desk. I come back go to the front desk there is no key so I figure she is in the room. I go all the way up to the 10th floor she is not there. I go all the way back to to the first floor to get the key and then back up to wait for someone to open it. The next day she comes in I said you should have left the key. She acted like she did not care so I gave her a taste of her own medicine. She never did that again. I also found her period stained underwear on the bathroom floor.
Presently.. I need an apartment badly and took whatever at some student complex. I moved in with a bunch of teenage a hats. There is a microwave in the kitchen so I figured its the apartments microwave. I used it every single day and they saw me using it without saying a thing. One day I see a sign on it that its the property of Room D. One time I come home and I look at a note on the ground by my door it says please stop stealing the trash bags. WTF? Why would I want to steal trash bags? The girl in the room next to me is SOOOO damn loud I can hear every phone convo that can go on until 4am in the morning.
I am currently looking for a job so I can get a place of my own. No more of this crap.

- sh*t cover underwear on the basement floor
- pubes in a pile beside the toilet
- period undies on the bathroom sink
- stolen records,headphones and the fight that caused where it brought me to threaten violence
- room-mate lies about food consumption on mine causing a double/triple food bill.
(caught that person on camera,loved showing them that tape..lol)
- snot rockets on door handles
- clogged toilet with nasty water all over the floor
- dog that wasnt watched enough/played with so it ate a lot of my stuff including a babyphoto book
- downloaded wierd questionable porn to my hard drive
- leaving the main door wide open in the city all night long (murder/rape bait anyone?)
- stole my mail/packages
- stole money I had sitting in MY PURSE (which also had me threatening violence)
- I got yelled at because thier boyfriend "pulled it out" infront of me because I am asking for it by putting on lipstick in the mirror before I leave (yeh ok)
...theres so many more....
You know..I dont have kids but if I ever did I would tell them to live with who ever first before getting married (if they were going to get married)

Not that this even comes CLOSE to what the others have posted... but here goes.
I went to college in a northern state where winters get very cold. We didn't have any temperature control in the individual dorm rooms, so if one girl said she was cold, the rest of us roasted b/c they would crank up the heat. Or, we had the windows open when there was a foot of snow on the ground. Healthy.
My freshman year I lived with a girl who had a very sheltered life (first time away from home, mom did everything for her). She also liked to eat a lot of spicy foods; curry was one of her favorites.
She would put her food in the microwave, and bring it back into our room, and sit on her bed to eat it. That's not so bad, right?
Wrong. She would pile up her dirty dishes in her bed, and then SLEEP in it. Since she wasn't a big believer in showers, plus the fact that they cranked the heat in the dorm for months at a time... well, you could imagine the aroma that wafted out of our room.
Today I had finished my lunch in the dining room and was walking back toward my room. Just then my roommate walked out her room. I quickly glanced because when she had opened her door it startled me. I wish I didn't look because there she was all 6'7 400 lbs of her in a tank top with fat hanging out and a thong. That 1 second look is going to give me nightmares
