That was 50 years ago, so...

But at times I still get teary eyed thinking about her, cute kind wholesome girl next door all American type. If I remember correctly the driver got a ticket and a fine, and probation.

Life just isn't fair.

My son in law lost his father yesterday. He was 83. He also lost his brother in January. He was 50. It's a large family of 10 kids but now there are only 8. One brother died (suicide) several years ago. Time is cruel and we all must respect it, especially as we age. Peace be with you all today.

Jim, it's nice that she lives on in your dreams though.

I had a musical dream last night. I woke up with the Three Stooges theme song in my head. Not sure if I was dreaming about the stooges or just the song, LOL. Now I can't get that song out of my head.

And here I thought you were a nice person!

I was surprised to learn other kids my age weren’t allowed to watch the Three Stooges because it was too violent according to their parents. I liked watching it best upside down on the sofa. I liked Larry best.

LOL, Jean. I can relate to you, I also was allowed to watch them. I liked Curly best, and resented when Curly Joe and Joe DeRita replaced him.

I just had to listen to their theme song, thank you very much, Piney Creek. LOL. Funny how this came back to "haunt" you. Yep, brings back (good) memories.

A few years ago I had an appointment with my primary. In conversation, he told me he loved the Stooges. I thought that was so funny....... he did too. At the time there was a Stooges movie playing locally and he wanted to see it but his wife wasn't enthused about it. I don't know if he decided to see it or not.

This business about not being allowed to watch the Three Stooges kind of startled me, since both my husband and I were allowed to watch them as kids. Hubby said it best: They were just "Silly Smack", LoL!!!

Everyone watched the Three Stooges as kids. The schools sent a note to parents warning NOT to do that eye poking thing Moe did to Curly.

Another nice day here; sunny, breezy and about 70. Our back deck was peeling, so got it power washed, sanded and re stained yesterday. My wife chose a blue color for it. Would not have been my first choice, but maybe it will grow on me. Going to order a table/chairs/umbrella next week so it looks like I'll be spending some time outside this summer.

Going to put together my small raised bed next week and fill it up with planting material. Plan on putting in some tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, zuchinni and whatever else I might fit in it. Nothing better than a tomato fresh from the garden.

Lazy day for me today. Just hoping for a good March Madness basketball game to watch this afternoon. Walked away from the first one after just a few minutes as it was a blowout. My day to fix dinner, so it is going to be a bottom round roast in the slow cooker with onion soup and mushroom soup. Then I'll toss in some celery, carrots and green beans. Mash up some potatoes and make some gravy. One of our favorite Sunday meals.
