Just did, at 6:30 pm. Well deserved, I'd say. I cannot move a muscle.

Is it just me or are the topics under retirement getting more and more depressing?

We are all going to die, some time, some place, from some thing.

I personally do not care to focus on it. I've accepted it. Nothing I can do about it.

I am all for living life and enjoying it as much as possible.

We visited my parents a couple of weeks ago. We made a trip out to the cemetery to put flowers on my grandparents graves. It was a shock to see the new headstone with my parents name and birthdate there that was recently placed. I realized that was the real reason for the trip there, Dad is getting their lives in order. Not a cheerful trip for me, but it's not about me at this point.

Having a plan makes some people happy and they want to talk about it, a catharsis of sorts that helps. You may have accepted this, but others may have finally given it thought and need to talk about it. I read those threads like I listen to my parents; they are working it all out and talking or taking action that gives them peace of mind.

I check the security camera daily and was surprised to see this guy setting off the motion sensor this morning when I checked the footage.

I cannot believe I've been on CD this many years and have no idea what the gold stars or the green bars are for! Please explain, and congratulations.

I'm curious to know, too. What do they mean?

And congratulations to all those gold stars...... significance?
