I loved this! Thank you for posting it. Something I can hope to shoot for as my years slip by.

I liked it too. If only we could all be like her and have that great attitude. I know I'd like to be like that if I live so long.

Xenah, I posted in grief because I could not think of anywhere else to break down. Mom's are special & it's tough when they go. Sorry for you.

I miss mine too. She's been gone a year and a half and I miss her so much, still. I thought about her all day today.

I know most of the retirees here are too busy to have seen seen this TV commercial... but this one from Behr paint made me smile. I love the first scene with the old salt and three babes. It's probably closer to reality than the Our Times online dating ones featuring "seniors" making out in a car. Or is it?

My Retirement Forum award for the poster with the best sense of humor goes to Mathjak. In the Economics Forum someone was talking about the effects of the two Boer Wars (1877 and 1901) on Great Britain. Mathjak posted that for him, those wars were such a bore. And remember when the subject was nudist resorts and seniors? He said he has a picture of himself at a nudist resort carrying two cups of coffee and four donuts! What a hysterical image.

Spring storm today, golf ball size hail, thousands of ground to cloud lightening strikes heavy rain. Temp dropped to 45 degrees in a few minutes. Glad I'm waiting to plant my garden. And no fishing today!

I plan to purchase some baskets/bins to keep in the drawers that hold my tops.
I know exactly what you're talking about. The same thing happened to me a couple years ago at a place I was renting. Within a month or so, many of my t-shirts had small holes in the front all in the same place. It was such a weird thing to happen and it took a while to figure it out.

It turns out that at the kitchen sink, the underside of the countertop where I'd lean in to wash dishes was unfinished. Once I lined up the shirt holes and that spot, it all made sense. I put a piece of duct tape on the underside of the counter and the problem stopped happening.

There could be other causes in your situation, and you can even google "small holes in front of shirts" to see some ways others have dealt with other causes.
