It's hard to find an invention that hasn't been done before, but there are things that go through cycles of innovation, and come out unlike anything in the past. Smartphones do that a lot.
I just went out last night and bought a Yamaha DTX6K2 electronic drum kit. Took 1/2 hour to set it up, and I have been on it most of the day learning how to use it, and what it is capable of. It's kind of amazing, and I'm used to technology.
A few smart plugs so I can have my Christmas lights on while reading in bed at night, then order Siri to turn them off when I’m ready to go to sleep.
