I just got this. I don't think it is patented but definitely required ingenuity.

Not too crazy about chainsaws. Am think of getting an ax as part of my ranch supplies but not a chain saw.

BUT.....we are catching up with you! Why, we even have phones wired into the walls now!

I like the new lawn irrigation system I had installed last year. It’s on WiFi.

That being said, I have recently begun to feel encumbered and in a sense bullied by the technology and “digital world.”

Newest invention??

Not sure it is a "new invention", but more like dozens of inventions from the past 20 years coming together.

I fully automated my astronomical observatory last year. It runs all night taking pictures, and then the telescope shuts down at dawn.

Not real fancy.

The real fancy folks run their observatories from 10,000 miles away and have then open and shut by themselves. If clouds come in or it start raining, they close up automatically.

Thank god, for Chinese technology. Todays, astronomical equipment is real cheap!!!

The newest invention we have is a Blu-Ray player, and Blu-Ray became popular staring in 2006. Excluding that, it was the DVD player, which became popular about five years before that. (We have about 600 DVDs compared to only about 50 blu-rays, btw.) We have no kind of "Smart" anything. So people visiting our home might think they had traveled back in time to 15 years ago (unless they went into our garage and found a 2018 vehicle parked there).

What about you?
Google Pixel 600 phone. LOVE it.
