Moving to richmond, thank you for the tips. I was reading the same thing online, I have yet to find a fishmonger, but there is a site that specializes in sashimi goods. Its pricy of course but my only best bet so far.

I have bought sashimi-grade fish a few times from Fresh Catch seafood off Pump Rd in Richmond. It's in the same general vicinity as Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and the Short Pump mall. Fairly expensive, but fresh fish always is! Good luck

Ive heard yellow umbrella is a good fishmonger, but no personal experience. And I only have to head out to short pump every couple of months max!

T.A.G. Hours & Directions - this is in Midlothian - smaller than Tan-A but great prices and the lady who works there is so friendly and sweet. I don't think they have fresh fish though, I'll second Yellow Umbrella for fish.

Thanks, I checked out the site last night. Hoping I can find what I am looking for.

A co-worker referred me to Farmer Foods surprisingly they had a "decent" selection in the Asian isle. Still prefer the "real" thing though.
