...take your girlfriend/boyfriend to walmart to show them a good time. Talk about one day making it and being able to afford to shop at Target.

...For fun, get family/friends together and reenact the Civil war, making sure the South wins this time.

When you are people where they went to school, you expect only two answers: UVa or URichmond.

Poor attempt at humor?

Actually it's been a couple of decades since my years in Richmond (Chesterfield), but as I recall those are two schools from which I would be proud to have a degree. I'm am sorry however that the op used the rivah line, because I would have noted that it took me a while to adjust to people saying they were going to the "rivah" instead of the "lake" for the weekend!

-You live in the West End
-You know that the real Richmond is north of the "Rivah"
I found these two points very racist. For some reason you seemed to choose the 2 areas which are heavily populated almost exclusively by blacks and accuse them of not being "Richmond-esque".

Also in response to the thing about UofR: UofR is a very expensive and elite school with much fewer students and much more students from out of state than Virginia Tech or most other Virginia universities, so a lot of Richmonders (who went to VTech back when it was more of a community school like VCU is, tend to support Vtech over UofR.
