Clean out your coffee pot at least once a week, by adding white vinegar and letting it sit for several hours, then rinse thoroughly. It will keep the mineral deposits under some control.
But you really do need to have a water softener installed. All of your plumbing and appliances will thank you for it.

A WATER softener will solve all of these problems? what about pipes clogging up or replacing faucets?

If the water pipes are clogging up and faucets need replacing because of mineral deposit build up it will sure help! Why, what did you mean by "these problems"?

Tamara people are recomending a water softener but do you have copper pipes? We have copper with acidic water, therefore a calcite neutralizer (adds calcite) is necessary to protect these pipes. Salt or acidic water react with copper.
I like hard water. Softened water leaves hair limp/flat and it takes forever to rinse soap out of anything. You wouldn't want to drink softened water either. If you have copper pipes you may want to keep your hard water.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I remember when someone cleaned the coffee pot in our office most of the coffee drinkers complained for a month that it ruined the coffee.
I spent most of my career as a contractor.
I have installed a lot of them.
Most codes require a dedicated hard water line to the kitchen sink and ice maker.
I used to add a hose bib next to the units for car washing.
Our second home has slightly hard water from its well.
After soaking and scrubbing the shower heads in vinegar the flow really increased.

Good luck to you.
That hard water really does a number on your car when you wash it. Water spots galore.
