I'm curious if any one knows of a store around town or nearby that specializes in soda/soft drinks? I have been a number of different places and often there is one or two places around that carry all the odd brands and styles that folks find fun. Up in OKC area there is Pops. HEB sometimes carries a few things, but never enough or with the reliability to be of much use. Fingers crossed...

Central Market carries some good odd brands like: Delaware Punch, Hires Root Beer, and Crush flavors.

Unfortunately, Whole Foods and CM are the only spots for reliable 'off' brands. I also shop at some of the local Brazilian and Asian grocers for things like Guarana and Ramune soda.

i go there for ginger ale, and i think their soda selection is ok, if i recall correctly (not entirely sure since i don't shop for it. their website has more on it than there might be in stores.) specs is a liquor/wine store so it's not dedicated to soda, but does have a nice selection of specialty beverages and unique groceries. though the specs in austin is better in my opinion.

There is one in Carrollton (near Dallas) called Blooms - it's a candy and soda store. I know it's not nearby, but just in case you are planning on a daytrip or weekend trip to Dallas in the near future... I think they ship, but it would probably be expensive due to the weight.

Thanks, I had seen the CM offerings. I will check out the World Market and see what they have there. JIC, I am looking for some Birch Beer. I have found it a couple times at HEB's but never reliable enough to depend on. Thanks to all the help!
