The permanent sign went up for Los Cascabeles in mid-December and it was removed last week. Maybe that one won't be opening?

Las Margaritas appears to still be under construction. No mention on the signs of hiring or anything else that would make opening appear to be soon.

I had posted this on the restaurant chat thread, but I think it belongs in here.

Wetmore Smokehouse(formerly Tommy Wilson's BBQ) on Bulverde Rd is closed. Sign says Grady's BBQ coming soon

Bayseas Seafood (seafood & soul food) restaurant opened at 410 & Blanco across from the old Toys R Us .

Looking to grab some fried fish tomorrow, I heard the staff is friendly and nice, really good customer service. I hope the food will match.

Don't know if posted yet but the Goombas in schertz has been open now for about two weeks. Me and wife went for lunch on new years eve and the pizza was really good. Only thing is it took forever for everyone in there to get there food, even salads. It must have taken 30 minutes or so. Don't know if they weren't fully staffed yet or not. Also, wife went back last week for lunch and she said they didn't have Alfredo. Maybe time will tell.

They are building a Whataburger in front of Lowes at The Rim. Woohoo! Building something else next door to it and I'm not sure what that is.

Wife also said that there is something coming off 1604 and Judson(by where the new mc donalds is) and it's a huge building. Anyone have any ideas as to what that will be?

It's at Bulverde Rd and 1604 and it's going to be a large Starbucks

Wow!,...business must be good for Bayseas, cause they opened one on IH 35 southbound side between Starlight Terrace and Loop 410 in a motel vacant restaurant building. I heard they went buffet style. They were good when they were on Austin Hwy a while back.
