Really?

UT is nothing like Chipotle. I'm sure your exaggeration would be disagreed with by many folks here who have eaten at both spots.

Saw Green's Vegetarian restaurant open in the Alon plaza. Seems to have taken over some sandwich shop which closed there (that wasn't bad).

Patti Lou's on Hildebrand was just bought out and is now called Bahrmacy. We didn't even notice until new menu's were brought out. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. Too bad, it was such a great place for breakfast....a girl can only eat so many breakfast tacos.

This news is NO surprise to some of us over here by them. Consistently bad service, and on top of that, they would run out of food on a regular basis--french fries and onion rings?!? Who runs out of those staples?? Bad management and few excuses from the owners. Add bad/no signage or advertising and they were DOOMED from the start.

Big'z is opening in January and would have blown them off the map anyway.

Everything in that area seems to be doomed except for Bill Miller's. I get gas at Rudy's from time to time and it was a ghost town in there. Literally nobody was eating there in the middle of the day and it was eerie. I have been to the Bigz once on 1604 and that was enough for me. It was basically a place for parents to let their kids run wild while they talked to their friends. Loud, felt dirty, overpriced, and had to park back by those apts. which seemed like a mile away. Hope this new one is better, but I aint holding my breath.
