I have heard that too and it's very rare to see only a KFC anymore. Taco Bell would be pretty dangerous, but very convenient.

An Autozone would be good but I would like to see an O O O O O' Reilly's.

Why is it that when someone buys parts at these kinds of stores the parking lot is turned into a Mechanic's Shop?. I can see replacing a burnt out tailight, headlamp, (safety stuff) etc. but when you start replacing large parts that's a littly tacky. I have seen folks changing their oil and draining anti freeze at some stores (I kid you not).

Maybe it will be a combo KFC/Taco Bell. I have never been inside one before, the idea of what it must smell like makes me nauseous. But I do like the idea of a Taco Bell drive through in the 'hood. The closest Taco Bell makes you feel like you are making a run for the border.

The smell is the least of your worries.

We're blessed with one at Tezel/Culebra/Grissom and it's gross, slow, and always packed.

Are you talking about the chicken wire, etc they put up in the past couple of days?? Cuz that looks like a Christmas tree lot - complete with boards to hold lights up. They have rebar jammed in the ground, I assumed to hold trees up...

I was told that location would open in January. Talked with the owners/mgmt at the VIP opening of the Bandera location.

oh, THAT part of the shopping center. Yeah, that's going to be a Christmas tree lot, or at least it definitely looks like one. I thought there was some other development I didn't notice. damn

I feel your disappointment. I saw the Christmas tree lot last week while I was getting a strawberry shake from JITB.
