I bought a sterio for my daughter there and it was on the top of my full basket. The lady did search my receipt for that item. Actually, I had to show her where it was on the receipt . Still, it was no biggy, she was just doing her job.

I agree with the other post that they are ripped off more by their own employees than the customers. I have heard stories from people at work who have friends that work at HEB or Walmart and they get $250 worth of groceries for about $40, now this makes me angry

i think that's rude... the person is just doin his/her job...

i know its a little bit of a hassle, but still... , i second d' motion that it should not be a big deal whether or not they check you on your way out... it's business and they are protecting their interest...

It is rude. IMO, the treatment one gives service workers says a lot about that person.

call it what you want like i said it depends on the person at the door and how they approach me if they are nice and ask me politely i stop, if they just apporach me like if they knew for shure i stole something i just keep going. Thats telling me that He/she thinks i have stolen something. and thats being rude towards the customer.

I agree with svg - it really irritates me when they walk in front of you and put up their hands, like a crossing guard! I am capable of speaking and understanding english! Just ask me! Don't corral me like some animal... Yes I'm speaking from experience...

I can see your point. It's still rude to wordlessly walk away....

Giive them your two cents FIRST...then walk away!

Exactly! finally some one that agrees No pun intended for anyone, but its just messed up. I do agree i might be a bit of immature(its fun!), but it does really upset when they just block your way asking for a receipt when you paid right in front of their faces.
