I don't know if I'm going. My wife doesn't want to and I may be saving some money for a little trip to Paris
I need to get my passport renewed ASAP, though. It expires next month

How can a professional (I should probably have put that in quotes) journalist make two spelling errors in the title and subtitle? I-Team : Standed at the pump follow-up | Latest News | KENS5.com (http://www.kens5.com/latestnews/stories/KENS20090306_-_Stranded_at_the_pump_2.d2ff99b.html - broken link)
It's also the top story on the main page.. San Antonio News | KENS5.com

I noticed it instantly.. is this what we are throwing thousands of dollars at for the ever increasing tuition hikes?

In my TV newsroom experience, I discovered that the skills that make for a good journalist (curiosity, story-telling ability, and broad knowledge of current events) don't usually include spelling. With layoffs widespread across the media, there are fewer people "touching" and polishing the journalists' words before they reach the public. As a result it's becoming clearer which journalists can spell.

I would think a print journalist would have to have impeccable spelling skills, or at least use the spell checker in Word...
I see someone read one of my posts. Either the one here or the one I posted at the bottom of the story.
