Who was hogging the vaccine? Biden just sent it to save face. There is a lot of WW pressure on the USA for their actions during entire pandemic. (Not different than we respond to most world issues) World? what world? This is MY world.

Taiwan will come out pretty well, there are many countries who will. I also communicate daily with China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and have lived in each. We (USA)_ continue to be the laughing stock of Covid (as we should be).

Texas especially gets a LOT of jokes! (as should be). +1,568 new cases yesterday. Congrats...
AZ followed with +641
CA 20% higher population +535

Read above. Taiwan has more than 23 deaths. Get your facts right and hush with your nonsense.

hello?

Texas
1805 deaths / m

Taiwan (far higher exposures / risks) Compact living, commute and working conditions. Covid Lockdown? ended over a year ago.
23 Deaths / m

Zero would be a good number
Deaths / m = deaths per MILLION

Texas is winning by 78.4782608695652x, (BIG time!) so 'no-problem'

We really should be in the realm of those more diligent and focused on strong medical care...

Such as NZ, Singapore, China... ~ 5 deaths / million Texas is winning by 361x MORE deaths / million

If you believe the numbers that came out of China (and a lot of other countries), then we really have nothing to discuss. I mean I could like to 100 articles that many of these numbers are frauds, but if you choose to believe them, then it's pointless to discuss it further.

Singapore reporting is not fraud!!! That could get you caned!
NZ is not fraud
Vietnam is not fraud

Texas is quite likely very under-reported and certainly under-tested (That is fraud)

I am in contact with China (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, NZ, S Korea) daily with USA citizens living and working there (as have I), They have no significant Covid issues for over a yr .
Yesterday ONE day ONLY!!!... 20 June 2021 (over 16 months after covid outbreak)
(USA +9,306 new cases, population 28,995,881) all of the above countries combined... +51 new cases, population 1,702,458,871) (263,735,095 excluding China, if you don't like them... so USA = ~1/10th that population (excluding China) with 182.47 times as many cases (and we (only USA) have the majority of the vaccine!) Impressive!, no? We are undoubtedly winning.

Keep drinking the koolaid. All is well in USA *since May 13, all is very well in Texas (since 1836)

Usually people use PPM for that terminology. I don't go by "/m" so yes I missed that part as your style of typing is unique. Great job.

I am having firstclassflyer flashbacks here. People who have been on this forum a long time would get me.

PPM for expressing Deaths per million?

PPM has a LOT of diiferent meanings, (Most common is Parts Per Million (laboratory / quality assurance metrics)) i.e. milligrams per liter (mg/L)

Human (?) DEATHS as PPM

No wonder Texas is winning the new infections and body count.

Well how about you just move to one of those countries in Asia? I am not sure why you are living in Texas if you don't like the way business is handled here. I thought things are "EZ" for you to do something like this.

What are you talking about?

Besides being wrong about the current timeframe you are wrong for pandemic totals, but something tells me you knew that.

Texas is winning... 1st place in USA for new cases today +1486. Nearly 50% lead over next highest (1046).

Curtailing an airborne viral disease is quite easy to do.

Texas should have very little to no spread (summer season, wide open space, very few mass transit ridership, small minority of aged population.)

Well we're toward the bottom of all states when it comes to % of the population being vaccinated so.......not winning there. Wonder why we have so many new cases? Hmmmm......maybe get vaccinated?

The way I see it is you have a choice, if you choose to not get vaccinated you're not my problem.
