How would you like to work in this office?

The place I got it from said it's a real office that is used by a law professor.

Nothing like ordering books and never taking them out of the box! That's one way to keep them in mint condition for the estate sale!

I saw some web site about this woman that was a hoarder.....it was tragic. Seriously.....it was 100x's worse than this. I forget what they call it, but there is some mental illness the causes people to hoard. If I ever can think of it I'll post the link.....it was unbelievable. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff on line now.....makes me appreciate my little dust bunnies.

I know several "hoarders". They also are super tight with their money. A pet peeve of mine is people that never throw anything away. My office is super squeaky clean and clutter-free. Sometimes I throw things away too fast...like bills...oops.

People who stockpile stuff in their homes may have more to deal with than a cluttered home. Hoarding can actually become a mental condition associated with Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Hoarding, also known as Collyer's Syndrome or Disposophobia.

Thank you elnina...I couldn't begin to think of the clinical names for it. I saw a documentary on it not that long ago on the Discovery Channel. It really is tragic. The people that have it, know it's a problem and want to get control of their life, but when they tried to work with them and counsel them they would literally break down. They did have a few success stories....sort of. By average standards, it probably still would seem too much, but it was progress.
