I agree with you to a certain point however, when his actions affect the lives of others, and sponsors loose millions of dollars, you can bet your shiny dollar he needed to apologize. The difference between us and Tiger is that in our case it would propably only affect our family, so we could keep it private, jmo.

Like many of us? I'm not perfect, either, but what he did was pretty despicable considering it was going on for a while and he knew he was hurting people. Public figures are held to a higher standard than private citizens. It goes with the fame and fortune. If you can't handle it, you should not be in the spotlight in the first place. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

Well we have let many NFL players do that and then some and they still shine. Are we holding Tiger to a higher standard because in the past he was a "good boy with a good image"?

If it were up to the media (and some bitter members of the public), he'd be holding press conferences, apologizing on an hourly basis: The 'Tiger' story and the Fox News breakdown of his perfectly acceptable apology is ridiculous. This is just another Phoenix-Rising instance of folks letting their petty jealousy seethe from congratulatory feeling (when Tiger was doing well and on top of his game) to I-Told-You-So relief when the first woman came forward.

Frankly, it's none of our business.
I can say the same for President Clinton and his own indiscretions. Why is it necessary for ANY of us to know about the sex lives of those in a public spot? ... It's not. The women he cheated with knew the drill. I don't feel one ounce of sorrow for what happened to them. Star-*uckers IMO. I do feel bad for Tiger's wife, but it's up to her to decide whether she's able to handle the situation and move on (either with or without him). Her PERSONAL decision. It's not for us to say anything for or against her.

People in glass houses folks. I'm sure many of you reading this are hiding your own skeleton. Just because you don't play pro-golf and have millions in endorsements, that doesn't make it any better. People are people, no matter what 'level' they're at.

Couples Retreat has a lot of great lines in it, like pupply cradle death syndrome and that a$$tastic password for the security company.

and "help me get my shirt off" at the very end

something on this page is causing it to hang at Bowie's post, but I think this will be the last post on the page.
