Oh, yeah, Junction is nice enough. Seriously, don't let me pee on your sandbox/headlight dream.....some people may really get into that sort of thing. I just thought it would be more "magical" and it just did not blow my skirt up at all. No, I wasn't expecting a Disney moment, but I just could not see what all the fuss was about. The little rest area/monument thing is nice enough, but again, bo-ring!

Take the gas money and go to southwest.com--they're having a huge sale right now and you could go somewhere much more fun for probably less money. Yeah, I said southwest. Don't hate. It's the economy, stupid. (not you, wCat!!)

Well, the boss is back tomorrow....bringing remnants of H1N1....yay me. He still sounds horrible, but he's got such a strong work ethic, you know. His wife has/had it? dunno, but she has asthma and just sounds awful. If they make me sick ( I'll have to pee in their sandbox )

Go get a root canal! That always sounds serious and good for a few days while the germs disperse!

The ones I've seen have tear off portions for you to sign and return. Maybe the teacher wasn't thinking when he/she typed up the directions!

Okay, a little rant here...Don't you just love these projects where you have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff? I don't have a problem with science projects, where they actually learn/do things, but the the arts - n- crafts type things. I would rather the students write a research paper (age appropriate) than have to bother with paper mache, little toy animals, party decorations and scrapbook supplies. Most kids don't think they are "fun" anyway and rush through them.

I TOTALLY agree!!!! I was at Hobby Lobby last weekend buying stuff to build an atom. the atom had to have a "theme" so we spent about $30 on "beach stuff".
