You will get a Team in 10 to 20 years at the very least....your chances of getting the Viking ..Bills...Oakland Raiders....Jacksonville are Nill or None.

So that our local government can squander millions of tax dollars to help the mega-rich team owners pay for a new stadium- no thank you. The Spurs take enough of our tax $$.

Build a new stadium with adequate suites and a Super Bowl will come.

Sincerely,

It is even less likely for Los Angeles ultimately. It may even take longer out there. Los Angeles has been nothing more than a pawn used by numerous owners to manipulate other cities into building new stadiums. San Antonio has been the victim of similar plots.

Oh and incidentally, do you have any facts to support your claim that San Antonio will not get an NFL team for another 10 to 20 years? Or is that just a random opinion?

All teams likely to leave their's markets are signing on to long term agreement to stay within their's markets......and the commish won't give San Antonio an Expansion Team before LA gets one or two............

I believe he has every intention of giving two expansion teams at the same time: LA and SA (hopefully). LA for sure, SA is my hope, but it could be another city on a very short list. He has already said that he wants 2 teams to enter the league, not just 1.

That would be great , but there are two ownership groups making noise about building stadiums in the Los Angeles Metro...and if the Commish can get two team in the 2ND Largest Market that just may be too Attractive to Over Look......I'm just saying...San Antonio just may get over looked again.

Again, if anyone will be overlooked it's likely to be Los Angeles. Remember when the LA area was a shoe-in to get a team back in 1999? That shoe-in team are now the Houston Texans. Los Angeles was all ready for the return of pro football until Bob McNair stepped in and stole their dream. If the LA financiers would have had their collective acts together back then there would be NFL football in Los Angeles now. So just because Los Angeles is the second biggest TV market blah, blah, blah doesn't guarantee the place will be seeing NFL football played there now or anytime soon. My point is that San Antonio may well get ino the league before Los Angeles.

btw, pun; the humorous use of a word or phrase so as to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, or the use of words that are alike or nearly alike in sound but different in meaning; a play on words.
