I love Freddy's! However, I consider Freddy's fast food. Smashburger and Five Guys are burger joints.

At 9AM the only burger worthy is Whataburger. And even then I'm not so sure.

LOL Mx3....

There's nothing in the world like beef ground up and pressed into a pattie, then grilled to perfection and sandwiched between 2 buns with all the fixin's.

Oh, I love handburgers! My waistline is proof of that!

I just think that if I am going to subtract years from my life to enjoy a good burger, it will have to be one from Bobby Js, Five Guys or one of the other gourmet places. I just can not stomach fast food burgers anymore...

Tried Smashburger on Potranco last Friday and it was the most disgusting burger I have had in a long time. The fries and the meat were terrible... but I did like the pickles. LOL: DH didnt like it either which is kinda saying a lot since he pretty much will eat anything greasy and overprocessed.

Has anyone been to both the Bandera location AND the Potranco one? I've only been to the Bandera one, twice. First time second time, not so much. The difference was (I think) going at a busy time vs. going at a down time. When it was busy it smelled really good, food was so tasty, service was great. When it was slow, the heavy grease smell permeated the air, could almost feel it in my hair, service was sluggish, and the food was still OK but not as delicious as the first time. It was also inexplicably more expensive for the exact same order.
