There is great Mexican in NYC, but for Tex-Mex you are out of luck.

46th NY style Pizza - or something like that - anyone try?

Papa John's has a thin crust option, BTW.
It is 46th St. Pizza. My wife and I got a couple slices about three weeks ago, right after they first opened. It was good. The guy at the counter told us the original location is in Bulverde. Gonna try it for lunch tomorrow with a buddy of mine from NYC. We'll see what he has to say.

I love 46th St Pizza. I have no idea if it is NY quality pizza as, I just don't know, but everything is made fresh. Their sandwiches are huge and their food stays hot all the way to the last bite. I personally have had the manicotti, pizza, calzone, and meatball sub.

One of my daughters goes to Spring Branch MS, so I pass by the Bulverde location when I pick her up from cheer practice and I have to look away sometimes so I don't stop in every week. LOL

Wrong wrong wrong. Florio's isn't bad, but it's nowhere near Grimaldi's.

And as a bonus, the people working at Grimaldi's don't treat their customers like crap.

Florio's and Grimaldi's both are excellent, but they're two different kinds of pizza. Grimaldi's is what I would call "old-school" NY style, how American pizza was first made back in the early 1900's. Florio's is more "evolved", you might say, and is of the style that most people nowadays call "New York thin crust". That said, IMO, you won't be going wrong with either of them. Do 'em both!!

It moved down the block and around the corner to the former Magnolia Pancake House location. Best way I can think of to describe it is that its building is in the parking lot of the Magnolia's current location.
