After trying all of the pizzerias, I think the one that is the best, considering the authenticity of the pizza and the price, is 46th Street New York Pizzeria. I went to Grimaldi's for just 2 pizzas( pepperoni, and a Margarita)two sodas, and two glasses of wine and paid $100.00. They even burned the basil leaves on the margarita pizza. Not too good!!

Hi allaboutsa,

Where is 46th St NY pizza located? Was it thin crust?

Hello mmac12,

46th St NY Pizzeria is located in the shopping center at De Zavala and IH-10, just between the Sprint store and Eistein's Bros. Bagels. I initially tried the meatball sub sandwich during my first visit and I must say: it was FANTASTIC!! I then tried the 46th Street Special pizza which was hand-tossed and thin I was again impressed; however,I would avoid the onions next time because they were overwhelming. Overall, I think the pizza is as good or better than Grimaldi's and at a much better price.

Naple's at Huebner/Military. Another restaurant that has migrated from the Northeast. Their NY style pizza has more flavor than any of the other places I've tried yet. (Haven't had Grimaldi's yet.) Great spices and flavoring!

I've had a $100+ tab there but it was 2 couples with 2 large pies, a Mediterranean Salad and several Brooklyn Lager drafts and some wine, I'm more curious to see how you order a 'Margarita' pizza there.... as a side note if I have the receipt and am passionate enough to call someone names, I would have already scanned it and posted it, questions resolved...

I've had pizza there a couple of times now and it's very good. And their slices are reasonably priced as opposed to some others in town.

You know it's funny, alot of pizza places close here on Sundays... Let me know when you go if you like it . I'm a fan of Grimaldi's also, but I have noticed that they are now skipping on the cheese and sauce as opposed to when they first opened !
