it just needs to hold together and not drift too far to the east..
I'm staining a rail for my porch and hooking it up, so that should hopefully bring something out.

There is more development south and west from the main cluster of storms now. The Storm Prediction Center is monitoring the Hill Country and SA for a possible issuance of a Severe Thunderstorm Watch. These storms have plenty of energy to work with so they have the potential to reach severe limits with strong winds and hail being the main threats.

Right now i rate the odds of SA getting rain about 60%.

Any guesses on when it'll arrive at I-10 and Wurzbach? I'm wondering if my 6:15 kickball game will get cancelled...

yeah, that thing is flaring up Very nicely.. now my wife just needs to get home and get her car in the garage before it hits.

That new Trupoint on weather.com shows it hitting here around 9:00 PM, but I haven't found that thing to be very accurate at all. As big as that one storm is, I was thinking it was just going to flash a big F for the entire region it's going to hit..

I will say that around 6-7pm hours would be a good estimate for when these storms arrive down here. Timing for these storms is optimal for regeneration. I do not anticipate any significant weakening from them as they approach the area.

Radar estimates are showing a solid 1 to 3 inches where it is raining the heaviest. Other threats include strong winds (~50 mph and small hail). It's gonna rain y'all!!!!!!!

I'll bet once it crosses 1604 and starts to feel the effects of this big, hot chunk of concreat and asphalt we call San Antonio it will disipate like a sweet dream in the morning light. I hope I am wrong but that's what they usually do.

Unfriggenbelievable!! The storms are now spewing out an outflow boundary (this is when the cold air from the tops of the storms rush down to the surface.. a sign of the storm collapsing). What this does is cut off the inflow from the hot, moist air on top of us from the storm (or in other words.. suffocating the storm).

Weakening in the storms in Bandera County is likely as it approaches SA. However, we do have enough energy that PERHAPS we can get some developing along the outflow boundary. Otherwise our rainfall totals are looking increasingly dismal... AGAIN!!!!
