Wow just had a storm in 78261 (far north)... serious rain to the point it came in under my front door (and no, we're not in a flood area). Only lasted about 15 minutes but we'll take it!

Just got back home from helping a buddy tow his truck, and it is bone dry. Doesn't look like a single drop came down here. Maybe next time.

Rained here in the medical center - a nice little storm, complete with thunder and lightening (and actual rain!). It also dropped to 84 degrees! It was fabulous.

Well the good news about today's rain in SA is that we have enough "wetter" soils to support more widespread heavier rainfall with the next disturbance(s). Hopefully that means we can get every CDSA-er some beneficial rainfall.

Actually, I was thinking to myself while driving home after it rained a bit that it smelled bad outside (I had my windows down). Not the normal fresh smell after a nice rain, but a smelly past-the-due-date kind of smell. Is San Antonio...EXPIRED?
