We saw some of the lightning before we went to sleep. I was real skeptical about the storms reaching us here. It was nice to be wrong for once.

Actually I was under my porch and that was the only shot I had that included a clear shot of the sky and a house for perspective..

just got lucky.. I wont' bore you to death with the 30 other shots I had to take to get those!

They were good. I couldn't do that here because I have open fields behind the house and it wouldn't be as spectacular.

Well weather.com predicts a 60% chance of rain on both 8/31 and 9/1. Are they right?

Probably not....it's too far out for accuracy.

Yeah maybe the guy is just bored and wanted to make it interesting, since he can change it later in the week and few people would notice.
