Hello fellow Californians! My family and I are living in San Diego right now, well, have been our whole lives. We are actually heading out to TX for a visit to see if that is somewhere we would like to live. The only problem is that we would be leaving our whole families! Anyway we then thought about Temecula and Murrieta. The housing is more affordable for us up there right now. Especially since we want to have more kids and it is impossible for us to afford a house big enough down here for them. Anyway, how are things going up there? Schools? Neighborhoods? Are people nice? We live in east county right now, and people are pretty freakin rude. What about churches? Hospitals? Parks? Is there area pretty family oriented? Any information would help me out. Thanks a lot!!

Why don't you want to stay in San Diego County. My wife and I are looking to move to San Marcos or Vista for land developing and child rearing purposes. Murrieta is nice, Temecula is pretty nice. Both expanded quickly. Ask yourself where you want to work, your commute, and what you want to be close to. That could help! Both are pretty family oriented since there are many younger families looking for less expensive housing to raise a family in. What about Perris, Lake Elsinore, and a few more places further North?
