i was thinking about moving to palm desert around that area and i was woundering what the environment is like. i currently live in San Marcos, CA and i really like it i just want to move out to the desert. what im looking for is a community where their is a lot of people and families that live to ride dirt bikes and quads and live to go camping in the desert. Because one of the reasons i also wanna move there is because it's close to ocotillo wells

It's the Coachella Valley. If you are looking for a lot of off-roading, Palm Desert is probably not for you. However, you can take your toys out to the Indio Hills area and ride. We do it all the time.

so do u think palm desert will be a nice place for me cause i really like place like lake elsinore because everyone rides there and you always see people with there toys in the back of their trucks the only reason i dont like elsinore is because of the ugly parts of the city even tho it has so much potential and they still have some nice new neighborhoods going up but some areas look terrible

Palm Desert isn't anything like Elsinore. You won't typically see people driving around with their toys in Palm Desert, but there is off-roading nearby. Palm Desert itself is a very upscale city with many things to do, however, off-roading isn't one of them. If you appreciate beauty and a clean, safe environment, you will like Palm Desert.
