PROP D has passed !!!

The beach alcohol ban is now San Diego law.

San Diego now joins every other major city in California in making alcohol illegal on it's beaches.

Thanks to everyone who participated in my Prop D poll thread!

I am researching suing the Mormon Church to revoke their 501 (c) (3) status. If the church is going to function as a PAC, they should be paying taxes.

Hurrah, the PB elite gets it's private beach! The pic in the tribune says it all. A bunch of retirees with big smiles on their faces.

Even though I'll be taking my kids down to PB I'm going to feel a little bit guilty now.

Great point. Whether it's the rights of Mexicans, Gays, Pot Smokers, Prisoners or the poor, the people least affected are the ones most scared. This country is full of closed-minded bigots who cling to religion as an excuse and a rationality for their beliefs. You'll find that most of those who voted YES on 8 are religious people.

That is a shame Sass does this mean the Memorial will have to be taken down in the name of public land?

I hope not and it's a shame people are so frightened by a Memorial to service men and women who have giving the ultimate sacrifice for there country.
