You seem pretty adamant/confident in that? But have you taken into account that this is the state whose mono-party legislature recently passed a Universal Healthcare bill?

Prop 13 is the only thing standing in the way of funding that. Surely you can see where this is headed.

Also, have you factored in that the Prop 13 electorate is nearly extinct? Those voters are all elderly now, and in another 10 years, there won't be many people who even know what Prop 13 is let alone voted for it. It used to be said that Prop 13 was the "third rail" of California politics. Now its more like, "Prop what?"

The "old ways" of the previous generation have already been swept away by the demographic tsunami. It just seems foolish to bet on the edifice of Prop 13 to be the only thing left standing.

Even I won't vote against prop 13. It'll absolutely murder anyone who inherits if prop 13 is repealed.

The reports of Prop 13 imminent demise have been around since 1978...

Even Jerry Brown has said Prop 13 is settled law and he should know.

Howard Jarvis released a cancer that relegated me to poverty and living at home despite having 15% of a million dollars at 25 years old.
