looking for honest reliable realtor to work with (Tampa, Orlando: job market, neighborhoods)

we are looking to move by next spring- so May/April of 2012.
I woud love to look in the Clermont area- have a realtor name from friends that were very pleased. looking for someone to show me Orlando vicinity- Nemours hospital, Tampa area and Sarasota area.
Must have knowledge of a good high school for special needs, community activies, Special Olympics.
I am a dental hygienist, my husband is a machinist. Appears there are machine shop jobs. I know hygiene pickngs are slim. i o have someone in the Celebration area that has a temp agency so as soon as I get my license I can network. thanks- I see a nice neighborhood then I hear it is going downhill. We will be making a trip in May to look around.

Although any agent licensed in Florida can sell property located anywhere in Florida, I would suggest that you consider an agent for each of the areas you are considering. It's just really helpful to have local knowledge and having one agent for all three places makes that (practically) impossible to find.

I agree with bbronston about finding an agent in each of the 3 areas you are considering as you will want someone well versed on the local neighborhoods/market in each city.

Finding a machinist job in Sarasota at this time might be tricky. I would strongly suggest checking out the local job market carefully as machining was not in big demand even when the economy was better. Bradenton has more of a manufacturing base but several companies have shut down or moved production elsewhere in the past few years.

Thanks-we subscribe to Monster and a few other job sites and we get a lot of machine job listings from some good companies. I'll be down in May and get to look around- I'll contact agents as the time gets closer. Thank you!

You need more information than this. My wife has an advanced nursing degree and a lot of great experience, and we saw all the listings and thought it would be a no-brainer, but...no.

She eventually got settled very nicely, but the pickings were much slimmer than Monster and the other listing sites would have had us believe.

You should DEFINITELY get something in hand before you buy.

And yes, of course you should have a different agent for each area.
