Oh gypsychic, Thank you so much for your post. I also am a happy possitive person. We (tracy and I) never have a problem making friends and helping out our neighbors or someone who is stuck on the road. I am really hoping florida will be my personal paradise!! I was looking at moving in August, but my uncle will need me a couple of more months while he learns to walk again and then we will be out there!! My uncle got shot in the chest (an accident) with a 45 and lived. He is re-learning life and doing awnsome. Walked without help!! Family comes first and my dreams/plans can wait. I live on Anna Maria Island which is considered Bradenton. I love my island, but I absolutely hate this town. I would recomend Sarasota, but watch out because there are some rough areas there too. Sarasota is more city life, tons of things to do. Bradenton is quite boring to be honest. I try to stay on my island as much as possible. The apartments off of 53rd get worse the further out you go. Just dont pass 41. Some good apartments in Bradenton that are reasonable AND safe are Sunchase, The Preserve, or sub-divisions for reasonable house renting is Cordova lakes. It really all depends. Yes, we do hear about shooting and crime constantly in Bradenton, BUT you'll hear that everywhere. Bradenton is just very known right now for the pill heads and junkies. Im shooting for Northern Georgia by the end of this year.
