LOL, ok buddy...I guess if Savannah can't have it, you don't want any other city to have it either and most certainly not Charleston huh?

This was planned for northern Bryan County, right? Georgia Southern is literally 30 miles from that location and has a pretty big engineering program, so it's not like it was hard to find a proper workforce locally.

Auto plants aren't typically looking for people with college degrees in engineering to make up the bulk of their workforce; when it comes to manufacturing jobs, companies usually look for states with effective and efficient worker training programs. Pretty much all states have such programs but I've heard SC's in particular spoken of very highly...not sure what makes it different than the average program for Southern states except perhaps a depth of expertise in auto manufacturing and related industries.

To be fair to Augusta the Georgia you say afterwards just rolls off the tongue whether you want to say it or not.

The two sister cities made the list. Great for both of them. Some times I wish these cities were closer together so we could share each other more. I've often thought that if we were, we could have a nice size airport to share right between the two.

There will be much more connection between the Twin Cities of the south, when the high speed ferry (hovercraft?) is established between the two, in the year 2050. Stopping at HH and Tybee along the way. This is one of my pipe dreams.
