Looking to rent a house with a yard in an area that has a low crime rate. I need to be near schools and within a 45 min drive to larger cities for work.
I have 4 small dogs and 4 cats that I am not willing to part with. What are the pet restrictions for the areas. Which areas do not have any pet restrictions. Thank You

That's a lot of pets. I hear about people with just one dog having problems renting a place. I'd say you'd have better luck somewhere way out in the country where people tend to be more animal friendly. That probably would not be 45 minutes from Seattle but you might find something 45 minutes from Everett, Bremerton, Tacoma or Olympia.

You have to go where people are used to a lot of animals. My sister has about the same as you plus a horse, 4 goats, and two birds. She has a house with over an acre for $1,000/month in Monroe. Before that she lived in Duvall, before that Marysville. If you want good schools, though, figure on paying 3 times that much in a rare older home in Sammamish, Issaquah, Redmond or Bellevue.
