im looking for the best bang for the buck fitness place, I dont mind if i have to sign a 2 or 3 year contract, as long as the monthly amount is cheap. All i want is a place with a swimming pool, a basketball court, and the typical weights and treadmills. I dont care about classes or group stuff.

So far LA fitness on aurora and 135th is the perfect match, but its a bit too far. anything that is closer to beacon hill?

I've driven past the 24 Hour Fitness near Yale/Stewart many times while trying to navigate my way to packed I-5 south during rush hour.

Not sure there is a basketball court there, though.

The local YMCA's are a good deal ... closest to Beacon Hill are the ones downtown and the one on 23rd.

Have you looked into Jefferson Community Center? Seattle Parks & Recreation: Jefferson Community Center

I do remember hearing something about a gym there.
