Seattle is a beautiful woman, with not much to say.

Good luck trying to talk to her, if you're not already in her circle. :-/ I will admit. Ive been here 4 years, and have hated 95% of it. Until I embraced its beauty, started hiking (which I said I'd never do), and just started my own business. I still have problems with the people, their unfriendliness, etc. Wish that were different, but sadly, you get used to it.

Downtown Seattle resembles Manhattan, but with shorter buildings, and a less diverse population.

Ok, but that's not really describing Seattle.

How about:
Seattle is... full of opportunities for adventure in a (mostly) temperate climate.

I thought people seemed standoffish, too,when I first moved here. But it really did get much better. I think I had to adjust somehow.

Seattle is a pretentious, sterile and soulless city that is home to greedy mega-corporations that have killed the mom and pop shops (coffee, books etc. ) of real America.
