The NBA being stopped in Seattle is being bought off by David Stern. I'm starting to think Seattle will never get an NBA team again. Satan is working along with Stern to block it from happening.

Awesome news, NHL seems like a great fit for Seattle. Now we need a really fun name for the team.

Well...better than the Totems. I can't even picture what such a mascot would look like.

"In March, the Seattle ownership group launched a season-ticket drive and said it reached 25,000 deposits within the first hour. That exceeds the goal of 10,000 deposits -- which was reached in the first 12 minutes.

For context, the Golden Knights ran a season-ticket drive in 2015 and received 5,000 deposits in the first two days."

I love it! Only problem is that people who aren't from the PNW will pronounce it the way it looks.

Okay guys, i got it! Honoring the fighting culture of hockey and the PNW, the Sock-eyes! Could have an awesome logo, a fish with a black eye. I was thinking more like a "roided up" muscled fish, white t-shirt ( New Jersey style) with sleeves rolled up. Slicked back hair and the black eye. Haida artwork is not going to put fear in the heart of east coast teams.
