Yea, that's definitely a real bite. He's been called the "Cannibal of Ajax" - maybe he should become the "Werewolf of Uruguay."

This has been a great WC - I don't think this will distract from that.

The Uruguay manager is tripping, though. "...not about morality." Maybe not. But it sure as hell shouldn't be about biting your opponents, either.

EDIT:

This time, more than 2 games suspension I'd say.
I think he was banned 7 games for the first bite, 10 games for the second, and then 8 games for racial slurs. I would think he'd get 10+ games for this, wouldn't you?

Geeze, Suarez. Calm yourself. You don't want those buck teeth to come out:

If I were Chiellini, I'd get a tetanus shot just in case. Human teeth are full of bacteria.

So Greece scores in extra time and the clock keeps going for another 1-2 minutes as they celebrate then the game is over - can't figure out how soccer manages the clock. Seemed like that celebration time shouldn't be counted against the clock.

So we'll get Greece - Costa Rica in the next round. Possibly the least sexy KO game in the history of the WC

Greece deserved to get through because they wanted it more. Plus Costa Rica haven't lost a match so they without doubt deserve it.

This is why I love the World Cup - I just watched Grece v Ivory Coast and was entertained completely, great game.

There is a creature.... alive today... who has survived a million years of evolution. Without change. Without passion. And without logic. It lives to kill. A mindless eating machine. It will attack... and devour... anything. It is as if God created the devil.... gave him SUAJAWS

Btw, Netherlands vs Mexico ... So excited about this one!
Vazquez out due to yellow card accumulation is a huge blow for the team. Hope they can still win it!.

Brazil, Chile, Uruguay or Colombia

We already have one South American team in the semi-finals, for sure!

I hope Mexico or Costa Rica to be in the semi-finals too, as one more Latin American contender... And any of them would probably play against Argentina...
