watching ESPN's coverage of Croatia-Mexico and can barely understand the broadcaster. Couldn't they find someone that speaks clear and understandable English to do the broadcast? ESPN has a stable of broadcasters to chose from......
I don't get why people and the media still talk about the traveling the US has to do for their 3 group games. The US chose their base camp to be down near Sao Paulo. They should have done what Germany did and make their base way up the coast, a lot closer to their venues for games 1 and 3. Even Ghana is up near Germany thus cutting down on the amount of travel they have to do for their matches.
Didn't the teams choose their base camps before they knew exactly what stadiums they'd be playing in?
Then again, we beat Chile with relative ease today. Chile had one shot on goal the entire game.
I'm not sure I'd rather play Mexico than Brazil right now. Mexico have certainly looked more impressive so far.
Relative ease? Obviously we watched two separate games because the Dutch seemed caged in. It took til the last twenty mins for them to break away. Chile had more than one shot too. I'd say chile lost in the final of the second half
Brazil today did a poor first half, and a nice second half.
The big difference was Fernandinho replacing Paulinho.
I hope Scolari puts Fernandinho in the starting 11 for the next match, instead of Paulinho.
