This! Overall, Argentina have been terrible in this WC. They are lucky to have Messi, true wolrd class player.

Hard to view this as a tough, hard fought loss for the US as some media outlets in this country are portraying it. I like my country and wanted them to win, but Belgium were clearly the better side and deserved to win. As a US fan I would have loved for them to win, but as a soccer and sports fan, it would have a shame for Belgium had they not gotten the win after the way they shredded the US.

Pretty much the way I felt. Though once the US got aggressive in extra time they looked pretty good, and got some good looks. It may have been due to Belgium playing more defensively once they got the 2-goal lead, but I would like to see the US playing like that earlier in the game, not just once they get behind.

Predicted this final 4 right before the tournament started... 1.Argentina, 2.Brazil, 3.Netherlands, 4.Germany.
Still possible but right now i want to switch Argentina with the Netherlands.

I hope it will be European team against South America team in the Final Round. That would make it interesting. I'm pretty sure Brazil will make it to Final, being home team and all.

I'd prefer a little variation in this WC versus "The Usual Suspects (France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands)" entering the final rounds.

From those left, I'd prefer a Final between Colombia and Costa Rica.

Would be awesome to see an African team win a WC some day.

Agreed, but I also try to be realistic here. I usually root for the underdog in any games, but I have a soft spot for both Argentina and Brazil. Watch out for France though, they've been the most solid thus far with very little upset.

So Brazil vs Colomiba & France vs Germany on Friday with Netherlands vs Costa Rica and Argentina vs Belgium on Saturday.

Makes for a good weekend of football. Id like to see Colombia beat Brazil but I think home advantage goes to Brazil. I dont think Brazil will get past Germany in the semi's if they where both to progress. The Netherlands have to progress, right ? Surely Costa Rica's magical run has to end now lol. Argentina vs Belgium is hard to call, both have been poor and Argentina are still relying on one player to put them through. Im going with Belgium just because I think its hard to call.

I will go with Colombia to beat Brazil and face off with France who will bear Germany.

Costa Rica will lose to Holland and might face Belgium in the semis. Argentina have not been the best without Messi who is literally saving their butts each game.

Colombia will be America's only hope for a cup.
