No BI-LO store in Anderson County was affected by Southeastern Grocers' announcement in February to close 22 BI-LO, Harvey's and Winn-Dixie stores chain-wide.
I have heard BI-LO #5270, 2901 North Main Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2760, is one store that could close in the future.

You mean 2901 South Main St. And I hope that particularly doesn't close because a lot of people south of Anderson rely on that store (that store is the only chain grocery store in South Anderson (you do have Quality Foods which is a privately owned store).
Ingles is purchasing the Town Square shopping center in Downtown Williamston and will be putting a store there. Ace Hardware and a couple of other tenants will be moving to other spots in town to make way for Ingles.
The most desirable real estate in Williamston and is the 1st new Ingles location to be announced to be coming to the upstate of SC in several years.
Town Square Center was previously anchored by supermarket Winn-Dixie #1016 and drugstore Eckerd.
The last additional Ingle's store to open in South Carolina is store 249 in Westminster. Ingle's #249 opened in 2007. Winn-Dixie #1220 was among at least four stores Ingle's Markets acquired in Winn-Dixie's 2005 bankruptcy and store closings. Ingle's Markets owns properties east of Ingle's #249 for a potential new store.
I wonder if Ingle's Markets will follow through on the new Ingle's at store 39's old location on Pearman Dairy Road.
