Apparently, you must think the rest of Texas cares about the DFW sports scene.

This thread needs to be moved to the Dallas forum.

San Antonio (and presumably Austin) cares much more deeply than I wish it did about the NFL team in Dallas.

Since the discussion includes the NFL team and affects the balance of sports power with the major league teams in Houston, IMO the thread makes sense right here.

Again, the reason why I put it in the Texas forum instead....

(I'll be damned if I make it ONLY about Dallas when it's about the entire area)

Balance of power? Lol, there is no balance. DFw already had more major league teams. They have five Houston has four.

Although, it does kinda balance out when you weigh them out by strengths.
Houston has a good football and football team and average basketball team and a baseball team that sucks.
DFW has a good baseball and basketball team, an ok hockey team a sucky soccer team and a Jerry Jones who needs no introduction.

Considering the lack of Jones I think Houston is the one that seems rosier to me. Lol.

Anyway, Texas already has three basket ball teams, another in a metro that already has one is overkill.

With no major league sports on Austin and no baseball at all in central Texas, a new team would definitely not be stationed in DFW. Same for any new NFL team. Same for soccer.

Any new Hockey team would be going to Houston.

So that lives Arena foot ball or WNBA.

I will say this though, Dallas needs to bring the soccer closer to home.
The team should be in the city, and the Rangers need to be moved to FW.

Jerryworld can remain suburban but soccer and baseball needs to be urban.

How? The choices are all about DFW. Therefore, it belongs in the Dallas forum.
