So proud of the U.S. Swim Team. 28 medals, 23 of them gold. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Phelps in four years.

400 & 100 meter finals tonight at 8:00 & 8:25 CST. Many consider the 100 the premiere summer olympic event. Personally I prefer the distance events. More strategies & game planning involved especially between the Kenyan & Ethiopian teams.

Coverage of track and field starts at 4 PM pacific time.

Semifinals and finals of the premiere glamour event of the games, the 100 meter sprint.

There is absolutely nothing in the world of sports, like the silence before the starting gun of the Olympic 100 meter final.

Bolt all the way! Already the greatest short sprinter of all time, winning the 100 three Olympics in a row is unprecedented, to say the least.

Also look for 40 year old Kim Collins in the semifinals. He is the only 40 year old sprinter to run below 10 seconds.

anybody else remember this? probably my all time favorite Summer Olympic moment when a relatively unknown American, Dave "With the Golf Cap" Wottle wins the 800 in "72 with an unbelievable kick to nail the gold and crumple the pre race favorite Russian Yevgeny Yarzonov at the wire, Jim McKay & Marty Liquori announcing...

Bolt looked smooth again. Slow start, but fluid after that.

Bolt jogged a 9.86 in his semifinals.

BOLT!

Ya, it's over. Bolt will likely be able to celebrate before the finish again in the final.
