Synchronized swimming, Curling- Both require skill like ping pong or gymnastics, but they are both ridiculous looking.

Olympic tennis and sailing.

It's not like you can't get that level of competition ordinarilly, especially in tennis.

I know that sychonized swimming is difficult, no doubt about it. It's those stupid smiles that everyone has to flash at the cameras that irk me.

Can you imagine anything else, like the high jump where the participant has this big dumb smile from ear to ear, the entire time???

The 10K walk is horrible. How did competitive walking become a sport?

I LOVE skateboarding. While I don't necessarily believe it should be an Olympic sport, it is awesome to watch...so mark me down as a person that enjoys watching it.

Winter Olympics; It's gotta be Olympic hockey, not so much the
players as the Euro. officials. They just ain't got a good grip.(why?)
Summer Olympics; High jumping, i understand the skill involved but is there really anything more not worth the watching.

If you had asked this question of me when I was a kid I would have said figure skating. But over the years I've come to understand the athleticism involved and the sheer beauty of the whole event. So that ain't it.

I prefer the individual and pairs competitions to the team sports. I don't understand why they need 4 guys on a bobsled. They never seem to show enough of the biathlon for me to make a clear judgment, but what the heck, I'll choose that one.

LOL this is a good thread!

I don't like equistrian but I do sometimes watch for some strange reason. I agree sync swimming and the walk racing are booooring. I also can't stand water polo. No matter what level of conditioning of training is required, I just think the sport is wholly lame.

I love curling though. I think the fact that such an odd game could develop and continue to this day is very cool. It isn't a sport though!! It is most definitely a game.

Team handball is also an underappreciated sport here in the states. While it isn't all that exciting to watch I imagine it would be rather fun to play.
