I was shocked to find SO many sex offenders in the state, that there seems to be a sex or drug related teacher story in the news every month, and the worst - shooting and death rates of law enforcement here.

I was surprised to find that Florida is everything I thought it would be and more. And people were so freindly.

Didn't count on the drivers being out of control; it's a sign of poor leadership by the politicians.

When i first moved to the St Pete area in the mid 60's Florida was even more spectacular than i thought, however living on and off in various parts of Florida for the next 45 years that first magical feeling of living in paradise eventually wore off as more and more construction blighted the beaches and traffic became an unbearable chaos almost everywhere i went,i also became unable to tolerate the heat and humidity as i got older so ultimately settled in the other place of residence when i wasnt in Florida.
