I just moved to Palm Harbor from a small town in Ohio (Youngstown). I want to experience all that the Bay Area has to offer. So, I'm looking for suggestions, and I want to hear them all. I want to experience everything from sight seeing and nice places to relax and have dinner with a nice view, to adventurous things like kayaking, zip lines, etc...

Ft Desoto has some of the nicest beaches in the area and you can rent kayaks out there.

Ride a tube or kayak down the Weeki Wachee River. Try to start at the attraction on US 19. Eat at the Upper Deck at the end.

The sponge docks in Tarpon Springs are fun and a great place to get Greek food.

Wall Springs Park has some beautiful scenery.

I will come back with more as I think of them.

Ummm, I'd be living proof! You can drag your own too. You could probably snorkle the river if you were fit.

They banned tubers on the Weeki Wachee for a while due to all the tubing partiers throwing all manner of garbage into the river as they drunkenly partied their way downstream. nice to see tubing is back.

Well I can't speak to the ban but we lived there for a few years and saw every manner of drunken flotilla devices at one time or another. It's a lovely trip in a canoe or kayak.

The tubing thing sounds awesome and is going on my list of to do's as well as a trip to Ft Desoto.
I went to the Sponge Docks last weekend. Had a blast. I took a little 3hr boat ride and got to see some nice sites and dolphins.

Algia, thanks for the links. I will look at them tonight. I here that there's zip lines up around Orlando.
