The feeling is probably mutual.

Nope, your conspiracy theories are incorrect. This is the only name I've ever had on here. I don't have the energy to play those kind of games...

Being in Central Florida since 1980 somthing (No I am not going to tell you either) I love Florida, My wife and started our long loving marriage in Clearwater Fl. To me there is no other place. this is paridise. I moved to Phx and we are always looking for a way HOME Again.
Good point about thos Damm Yankees who take pot shots @ us. We will just take thier tourism and investment and they can move back to to their own missery.
The bigger picture is many of these so called NY and Jersey Investors, bailed on our state. My Realitor tells me thing are are the swing upward. You watch Florida this time will come back with a OIl Industry and a Stronger Tourism Base.
Did any read the Orlano Sentinial. It said the parks were full to include Sea World , WDW, Unverisal and Busch Gardens Tampa.
Floridains are optimistic and we actually say good moring to our next door nieghbor. We are tough and have experiaced our own issues like our old friend , "The Hurricane." But the up side is once you go thru one or 2 , you are good! Plus its good way to chase of those Carpet Baggers.
Plus we as Flordians make our state one of the least costly to live unlike other fee intensive cities like Phx,LA, New York..
By the the way, is there any out who needs a industrial store manager??

We have saved our money so we can move back to our wonderful home in "The City Beutiful Orlando". If all goes well WE will home by September or Sooner!

I can only imagine what the press will be saying come August in Tampa, and the convention here. Like what was said before, August ain't the prettiest month. And then there is always the risk of a hurricane... Either way, not the greatest press for the area. But politically I understand why they chose it over pheonix or salt lake city.
