Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question for Tampa residents only: Is $179.80 a normal water bill here? we are shocked to say the least, since we didn't even run the sprinklers all that much, had them all on timer once a week.
Our water bills have never went over $60 bucks in our entire Florida residence in the last 6 years coming from Fort Lauderdale all the way here!

Thank you,
Alex

WOW! My water bill is never more than $50 a month, and includes Sewer and Trash pickup(City of Tampa bill).

Make sure you don't have any leaky or broken pipes anywhere or a toilet that runs constantly.

Outrageous bill. I have family in FLA with a small yard, who have had similar bills. Goes along with the costly home insurance and property tax as reasons why to stay out of the State of FLA. Ridiculous.

That's close to normal in Hillsbourgh county. If you live in Tampa city, is dirt cheap, Pasco county a little more than the city.

I would say that is high. I had one that was high and they had misread the meter.

Our water bill this month is $46, down from a previous high of ~$60. It's just the two of us, though and we stopped watering the lawn when the restrictions kicked in.
