Florida has sunshine, rain, relatively small floods, an occasional hurricane, fast passing summer thunder storms and a sinkhole here and there. l
You omitted disgustingly oppressive heat and humidity 8 months a year

I still have nightmares of one of my last winter experiences before moving down here. Stepped out the door at 5am half asleep on my way to work. After stepping off the door step I fell on my ass and proceeded to slide about 100 feet down a hill trying to grasp on everything i slid past trying to keep myself from sliding into the main road. The whole ground was a sheet of ice. Now I watch YouTube videos of people getting their cars stuck in snow and laugh.

No matter where you live youre gonna have to deal with mother nature. Florida has the occasional hurricane. Up north its blizzards, hurricanes, floods. Out west earthquakes, wildfires, and droughts. Midwest tornadoes. I'll take the nice warm weather and occassional hurricane/tropical storm.

Indeed - like these:

Tornadoes, storms continue deadly rampage in Midwest, South (2017)

And this big tornado touched down about 10 miles from where I lived in Illinois at the time.
Illinois Tornado Deaths Put at 26 : Destruction: The storms shatter both lives and possessions. President Bush declares the Chicago suburbs a disaster area.350 were hurt. Hundreds of homes destroyed. Friend of ours was right in the middle, entire house was destroyed, exception of bathroom she and her kids hid in bathtub with mattress tossed over. When she looked up after storm cleared there was nothing left of her house except that bathroom.

Heat and humidity isnt a deal breaker. Fl is closer to the equator than Maine. FL is tropical/sub tropical. Anyone who lives here or wants to should know this simple fact. Either you accept it or eject it.

What a genius topic to post a day before a natural disaster of historic proportions hits the TB area.

Wonder what Einstein plans for future topics. Wonder if he posts in the California forum asking how the Californians love their CAL FIRE - California Statewide Fire Map

Was CDF around back in 9/11? Perhaps OP asked the question after the World Trade Center came down...."So NYers, how do you like living in Manhattan now?"

The whole topic at hand smells like a very weak/failed troll attempt.
